We left for Lake Powell on my birthday, June 19th at 4:00 am. On the way down we had to take some bathroom breaks, even when we were in remote areas! Julie got a candid photo of me helping Drew go pee on the side of the road.
Once we got down to the houseboat, Amelia (Julie's Mom) suprised me with a birthday celebration and she made my favorite cake, Carrot with homemade cream cheese frosting... mmm!

The next day was fathers day, all the kids gave Grandpa a fathers day card.

Billy started off right away in the water, here he is getting ready to go tubing.

Then he tried water skiing on Pauls boat, it was nice because it had a barefoot bar which helped the kids learn how to get up right next to the boat.

Playing cards is always one of the favorite passtimes at Lake Powell, Tim Sr. didn't have a very good hand as you can tell by the expression on his face!

A picture of me in the water, the temp. was perfect!

Drew took a turn water skiing. He would only try it once but he loved it!

Billy went fishing with his uncles, Paul and Tim Jr.

I enjoyed reading, something I rarely have time to do but spent a lot of time doing while on the trip!

The kids had fun on the trampoline until the black material heated up from the sun, it was good for a few days though!

Luke spent a lot of time "Chillin" in his saucer!

Your pictures are great! However Drew will get back at you one day for that first one :-). It looks like everyone had a great time. The ruins are fascinating, & your scenery shots are beautiful. Looks like you enjoyed your camera!
