Sunday Dinner

We had Sunday dinner this weekend out at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Tim just built a new shed out back and he hasn't filled it yet so they thought it would be fun for the kids to ride bikes in the big open area. It was a good chance for everyone to see the babies, Bailey is already growing so big! Scott and the boys rode Grandpa's four wheeler.
All the kids had fun riding bikes in one form or another.

Mavrick decided he had to go pee and didn't want to walk the exttra 100 feet to get inside and use the bathroom. It was a good candid moment :)

Billy is getting pretty good at riding the four wheeler by himself.

April / May

Again, a lot has happened in the last few months so the blog pictures are sparatic. We bought a trampoline at the end of march, beginning of april (it all blends together). The kids have loved it! Grandma Farr came to visit the kids and they had tons of fun jumping on the trampoline with her.
A quick picture of me and Luke, Julie was playing with the new camera.

Eli and Amelia.
Jen and Bailey.

Grandma reading with Drew.
Billy got an award at scouts. He even got to pin something on his Mom! He only poked her twice.

Afterwards Billy learned how to build a kite out of a brown paper bag.
As soon as he got home all the kids wanted to go out and fly kites so Grandma obliged.
All the kids, Julie, and Grandma all filed into the school field out back. They all ran around a lot trying to get the kites to fly but there wasn't enough wind to get them in the air.
We tried to get Luke to start eating baby food in April hoping it would help him sleep through the night. He was stubborn as you can see in these next pictures. He pulled a lot of faces and gagged a lot. He still hasn't eten baby food to this day. Just formula and an occasional bit of something off our plates (only if it's sweet). Who knew we would get a picky eater!

Grandma playing a matching game with the kids. All of them REALY enjoyed the visit from Grandma and wanted to immediately go back to her house to see her again. Maybe sometime soon.
For Mother's day we made trifle for the first time. Thanks Mariel for the inspiration :) We used your recipe for whipping the whipped cream. That doesn't sound like a big deal to other people reading but it was delicious!

I ran in Ogden's Half Marathon, the pictures might be out of order. All i can say is it was one of the hardest things I've done!
The kids hung out at the finish line and waited for me to run through.
By the time I ran through, I was cramping in both my calves and most of my toes. If you try this make sure you Hydrate, don't make the same mistake I did. I'll make sure to hydrate next time!

A couple of good friends who also ran.

Billy and Drew getting ready for church.
Beginning the summer with the grill!
In the final weeks of the school year, the school threw a carnival in the field behind our house. The kids had a blast on all the blow up toys, even Drew!

Billy got an Outstanding Citizen award again at school. What a good kid! takes after me of course :)
We went camping over Memorial Day weekend. Well not really camping but we went up to where everyone else was camping and enjoyed dinner with some of Julie's cousins.
Drew found some of the other boys to pal around with.
Throwing rocks in the river is a favorite boy activity.
Along with jumping off picnic tables.

Julie took the kids to a nearby air museum the first week of summer break since school is out.

They only drove her a little crazy by the time the day was over. I think they all had fun though.
Hopefully we'll get lot's o pictures this summer and have a fun summer together. We just got a used tent trailer so we plan on making some memories!
