Camping at Alpine

Drew got a few more things for his birthday from his Mom and Dad. We convinced him these cheap army toys were Star Wars (because he is obsessed with Star Wars)
Maggie lost another tooth!
Camping at Alpine was a blast! I went for a hike on the first day and took pictures of our camp from up the hill from our campsight.

The kids had fun on the four wheelers all weekend long. We may have to invest in a four wheeler in the up coming years!

We went for a long trip with the kids and by the end, they had mostly all fallen asleep.
Maggie and Hallee were inseparable.

Grandpa Tim was catching fish and letting the grandkids real them in.

We had to round up firewood and everyone forgot to bring axes or a chainsaw so I had to hack through the logs with a small hatchet.
The kids had a blast playing in the Vanagan!

Cards and Dominos was a favorite passtime for the adults.
Drew entertained himself almost the entire time until the end when he began to get tired.

This was the kids first choice of where to play. Uncle Paul made the kids a fort by knocking all the limbs off these trees that had fallen over. He called it a fort and all the kids played on the trees almost the entire time when they weren't on four wheelers or in the Vanagan.

A good picture of Paul, Staci, and Mavrick
Billy and Maggie playing at "The Fort"
We also rode the river on a raft that I borrowed from a friend and co-worker. Billy got to go down the river for the first time and thought it was tons of fun. It was another fun camping trip that we will hopefully do again next summer!

Beautiful country to camp in! I liked the "fort" made by Paul. It brought back memories of the same kinds of "forts" I played in with my brothers :-). Glad you all had such a good time!
