School Days

Once again it has been a while since we entered a post on the blog. We have been really busy as we have been trying to get things done before the end of the summer. There are several weeks worth of photo's here but better late than never. In this first photo we were celebrating Amelia's birthday (Julie's mom).

I'm not sure where this picture fell in the last few weeks but Drew has been enjoying corn on the cob as it has come to the end of the corn season.
Billy went back to school and was excited on his first day back.


Maggie was also excited to go back to pre-school.

In between the first day of school and this next section of pictures my family came to visit from Oregon. We had a really good time and enjoyed their company. My dad and I worked on a shed for my backyard for most of the few days they visited so I didn't get any pictures but I'm sure my mom will have plenty of pictures on her blog.
Maggie celebrated her birthday today even though her birthday is not for a few weeks. I built a large play house for her which we couldn't keep a secret any longer so we decided to celebrate her birthday early.

Maggie had a lot of fun opening her presents which consisted of clothes (Her favorite) and items for her playhouse. She had a fun birthday.

The shed which was built in about 4 days. We are excited to finally have storage for all the items in the garage. Thanks Dad, Mike, Travis, Blake, and Kyle for all the help, I couldn't have built it without you.

Lagoon Summer of 2008

We all went to Lagoon amusement park about a week ago and Julie forgot to take her camera. These are some of the pictures that were taken with Jen's camera that she e-mailed to us. Billy was finally tall enough to ride all the rides and didn't dissapoint. There wasn't a single ride that he was too scared to ride. It was a fun day! Julie and the kids went swimming half way through the day at Lagoona Beach. Afterwards they rode more of the rides. Drew was even able to ride a lot of the rides. At first he didn't know what to think, but after he began riding more and more he decided he liked riding them.

The last weekend of Summer Break

We decided to have a fun day with the kids on the last weekend before school starts back up. First we had to go shopping for school clothes for Billy because he has grown out of everything he owns. Next we went to Olive Garden (One of the kids favorite restaurants) where the kids ate tons of breadsticks with dipping sauce. Last we stopped by this water fountain park where the kids had fun playing in the water.
Both Billy and Maggie took turns showing Drew how to properly get wet.

Drew was soaked, but still wanted to keep going. He loved it!
Drew was trying to catch the water as it came out of the fountain. He was fascinated!

We knew it was time to be done when even Maggie ran out of steam and decided to lay down next to mom and bundle up.
It has been a fun summer and it was a great way to wrap it up. Now we get to look forward to dance with Maggie and Soccer for Billy. We can't wait to get started.
